Someone get Barry a history book…

“When Kennedy Met With Khruschev, We Were On The Brink Of Nuclear War.”
That’s the quote from Barry today. Problem is, he is WRONG. They met nearly 15 months before the Cuban Missile Crisis. Did he ever take a history class?
If Dan Quayle was disqualified for not being able to spell, then shouldn’t a continual lack of knowledge of history disqualify someone as well?

Sure thing, right after The Mushroom Cloud dissipates and we can see again.

[...] Quips of Ignorance Posted on May 16, 2008 by borealdreams Wow a double contradiction, on my part, given they are too stupid to know what “quips” are and “Ignorance” grants them the benefit of the doubt they’ve never been exposed to it before. Wow, the ignorance on this is stunning. Do you recall in 1961 the US placed nuclear weapons in Turkey pointed at the USSR, later the USSR placed weapons in Cuba. Were you alive in the late 50’s and early 60’s? If you were you would recall the nuclear bomb drills and fallout shelters. Most Americans believed that nuclear war was not an if but a when. We were on the brink of nuclear war far longer than the Cuban Missile Crisis landed.
